Here’s the latest implied message from Microsoft to its valued clients: “Don’t use Internet Explorer”. Support is ending for Internet Explorer versions 8, 9 and 10. It has been suggested that users switch over to Microsoft’s newest Edge browser. There is, of course, the option of switching over to Internet Explorer 11 if you absolutely feel compelled to stick with the browser, though most would suggest moving away from it entirely. While it will still be possible to use older versions of IE, it is important for both individuals and businesses to note that these versions will no longer be supported, and will therefore be left open to cyber attacks. Approximately 340 Million Windows users are still running Internet Explorer and most of them are, in fact, using outdated versions thereof. The smart thing to do would be to make the switch as soon as possible, eliminating all chances of becoming vulnerable to attack.
